Ablyazov about Aliyev. Nazarbayev killed him, and the murder accomplice was Austria

Rakhat Aliyev and I knew one another for more than 30 years, ever since our student days. I knew Rakhat very well.  Many were familiar with the period of our "warlike" relations, when Rakhat was at the peak of his political power and administrative influence. Yes, in his time he was the closest trusted confidant of Nazarbayev in everything: in business, in politics and in family matters. Then, he performed the direct instructions of Nazarbayev, and only Nazarbayev. He was his father-in-law's executor. And the whole police-KNB machine crushed business and persecuted the opposition only under direct instruction from Nazarbayev.

There's no need to be naive and believe the stories that Nazarbayev at some point "had his eyes opened" to Rakhat's activities. This is all nonsense! This I declare to you as one of the most active participants in the struggle against the system which Nazarbayev has built. We have created Democratic Choice for Kazakhstan (DCK) and have opposed corruption, nepotism and growing authoritarianism. Rakhat was for us just one of the "products" of the Nazarbayev regime, only a tool in the hands of the so-called "Leader of the Nation", who used Aliyev to his own ends.

Nazarbayev is always on top of what his entourage is doing. Moreover, he impelled, incited and used even his closest relatives for his dirty deeds. In the critical moment when he felt danger to his personal rule, he betrayed his closest relatives, turning them into whipping boys while making it look like he "didn't know".

Rakhat Aliyev was murdered. Murdered by his former father-in-law Nazarbayev, who acted through his henchmen, "working" for the state service.

Nowadays it's easy to criticize Rakhat Aliyev and throw stones at him, all the more so as he is no longer alive. But we need to admit that after his departure from Kazakhstan he became a tough and principal opponent of Nazarbayev. Rakhat exposed Kazakhstan's authoritarian political regime with the knowledge of deeds and with documents in his hands. It's because of this that he became one of the main targets of the repressive machine, acting in the personal interests of Nursultan Nazarbayev and his accomplices, which ultimately met with success.

Rakhat Aliyev was murdered. Murdered by his former father-in-law Nazarbayev, who acted through his henchmen, "working" for the state service (KNB). They did not act alone. Legal, detective and PR companies, powerful lobbyists, were hired. They fought with Rakhat worldwide. Nazarbayev's agents pursued Rakhat starting in Austria, then in Malta and in Greece. A huge machine was set up for his liquidation. In Austria they captured his 80 year old father in the embassy of Kazakhstan, bought a sniper rifle, bribed the police in order to poison Rakhat. For the last 8 years they tried to liquidate him.

And so Rakhat Aliyev was killed. The accomplice of this murder is the Austrian authorities.

For more than 7 years the Austrian authorities refused Nazarbayev in his pursuit of Aliyev, but in May 2014 they unexpectedly reopened a criminal case. This was despite the fact that legally this case had no kind of relation to Austria, and all the accusations of the Kazakh government were constructed in relation to events in Kazakhstan. What extraordinary events could occur that for more than 7 years the Austrian authorities did not react to Nazarbayev's requests and then so zealously took to helping his regime? I think that the answer is clear. It's a case of the bribery of lobbyists, lawyers, former and current highly-placed Austrian officials.

Rakhat could not have come to Austria if he was afraid of the charges from Kazakhstan. For the past few years he did not live there. He often changed his location. This prevented Nazarbayev's agents from carrying out the operation of his removal.

But he voluntarily came, voluntarily gave himself up to the Austrian police and was arrested. Having put him in jail, where he was for the next 9 months, the Austrian authorities created all the conditions for Aliyev's physical removal. Thus they are accomplices. And partners in crime, as is well-known, do not give any evidence against themselves and will promote a version of "suicide", covering the real killer - Nazarbayev.

Rakhat could have still come to an agreement with Nazarbayev in 2007, at the beginning of their conflict. He would have received many millions from his father-in-law in compensation for his silence, and the whole story would have gradually gone quiet. But he chose to fight. Many construct different versions as to why he made such a choice. What were his reasons? And what were Zamanbek Nurkadilov's reasons, who was for a long time Nazarbayev's friend, and mayor of Almaty? Or the reasons of Altynbek Sarsenbayev, who was many times one of the leaders of Nazarbayev's pre-election staff? What significance does this have? Each of these had their reasons. But they all understood that it was not possible to live like this any longer.

Many doubt that in emigration Rakhat Aliyev became a supporter of a democratic path of development for Kazakhstan. I'm not going to judge. But the fact that by his actions Rakhat fought against the main enemy of democracy in our country does not require proof.

Rakhat could have struck a deal, but he chose to fight. He fought, risking everything that he had. So that Rakhat's children did not speak to their father, Nazarbayev bribed his grandchildren, giving them shares of billions of dollars in Kazakhmys and other enterprises. This I know personally from Rakhat. You need to have a lot of will, strength and determination to confront this vile regime. To confront, knowing this government from within, understanding that an easy struggle is going on.

Who can now say that Aliyev got scared and committed suicide? To wage such a merciless war, burning all bridges behind you, in order to suddenly get scared after more than 8 years?

Nazarbayev loves to tell stories of the life of Genghis Khan, of how he executed his political opponents and closest relatives on charges of treason. Nazarbayev loves to tell how Genghis Khan was brought their severed heads. To us businessmen Nazarbayev said that he will also deal with his political opponents and with those who are considered traitors, including his relatives.

Nazarbayev says that he wants a future for Kazakhstan in the 30 most advanced countries of the world, but leads the country into a dark past, into the times of Genghis Khan.

In a narrow circle of ministers and businessmen Nazarbayev repeatedly promised to crack down on Rakhat. I more than once heard this from Nazarbayev in 2007-2008. He also promised to crack down on Zamanbek and Altynbek as well.

Before his death Zamanbek publicly declared that he expected assassination, he hid himself away at home and went virtually nowhere. Altynbek knew of the risks too.

All of us who really oppose Nazarbayev's regime understand well that Nazarbayev crossed the line long ago. A bloodthirsty monster has seized power in the government. And in the struggle for power, this monster is ready to kill even his own children and closest relatives. He has contaminated not just his own family, but has contaminated the whole country.

Nazarbayev is trying to destroy his political opponents in a period of important political events in the country as a warning to others in order to confuse all those who want to fight the Nazarbayev regime. Thus were killed Zamanbek, Altynbek, and now Rakhat. So on the eve of elections in parliament Nazarbayev shot the oilmen of Zhanaozen. Multiple murder attempts were made against me as well. They killed Aliyev on the eve of the new presidential elections, fearing a huge volume of information exposing the government. They killed him in a difficult economic period for the country.

Do not believe any kind of stories of "suicide". Know this: the murderer of Rakhat is Nazarbayev, and the Austrian authorities are his accomplices.
