Ablyazov’s barristers file an appeal
The barristers of the Kazakhstan dissident, Mukhtar Ablyazov filed an appeal on the court decision sanctioning Ablyazov’s extradition.
A decision consenting to Mukhtar Ablyazov’s extradition was issued by the French Aix-en-Provence court on January 9th 2014. Requests on the case were submitted by Russia and Ukraine, but the precedence was granted to Russia, as Ablyazov’s activity had allegedly caused more damage in this country.
