Members of ‘Civic Platform’ intervene on Paraskevich
Ligia Krajewska and Marcin Święcicki - Members of the Polish Sejm from the Civic Platform issued an appeal to Martin Pecina, the Czech Minister of the Interior.
In the appeal, MPs raised the issue of Tatiana Paraskevich, a citizen of Russia, with regard to whom Russia and Ukraine had filed a request for extradition. Paraskevich is a former colleague of Mukhtar Ablyazov, and there is a risk that, if extradition is carried out, she will be rendered further to the authorities of Kazakhstan – where she would face torture and other ill-treatment.
