French media after the trial concerning Ablyazov’s extradition
On 25th September, a trial was held in the case of the Kazakh dissident Mukhtar Ablyazov. A subsequent hearing was announced by the Court of Appeal in Lyon to be held on 6th October, and only then will a decision be made on the possibility of releasing the oppositionist on bail.
The matter was reported, amongst others, by Agence France Presse (AFP) and Reuters. In addition to the coverage of the trial, the France3 Rhone-Alpe portal also published an interview with Ablyazov’s daughter, Madina Ablyazov.
