Yahoo France about Ablyazov’s trial
The article presents, amongst other things, the position of the Prosecutor General who argues that extradition to Ukraine does not involve threats and Ablyazov’s rights will be observed there. He relies on the fact of signature by the Ukrainian authorities of the European Convention on Human Rights. Ablyazov himself, however, points to the political dimension of the matter. In his opinion, Ukraine is acting upon instructions from Kazakhstan. During the trial, the dissident’s defence lawyers also pointed to the instability of the current Ukraine government.
