4 years of suffering, persecution, procedures procedure, extensive judicial and diplomatic pressure on the oligarch.

His family, especially his daughter Madina supposes that the President of Kazakhstan is conducting a "personal vendetta" against his father. The former minister said that especially his relationship with the president had changed from the time when he made a campaign to change the government of their country.

He had been imprisoned in 2002 for one year after the creation of his party. He wanted to denounce the authoritarian regime of Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, who reigned for two decades, 24 years the undisputed master, constituting also a war chest of more than $ 30 billion, making him one of the most powerful of the Federation of Russia with an extremely rich country of oil, gas and other minerals.

The Attorney General of Kazakhstan announced Thursday August 1 2013 to the general satisfaction of the President and his clan, that the former minister Mukhtar Ablyazov was arrested by the French authorities Wednesday, July 31, 2013 near Cannes after an arrest warrant that was issued by Russia and was relayed by Interpol.

According to the Kazakh authorities, Mr. Mukhtar Ablyazov is prosecuted for embezzlement in his country.

The former Minister, Mukhtar Ablyazov is accused of embezzling six billion dollars.
He first chose Britain where he was sentenced there to 22 months in prison for contempt of court and perjury. Then he fled the country last year on the recommendation of the British secret service.

In his country, Mukhtar Ablyazov is especially charged by the Attorney General of Kazakhstan "of having created a criminal group that hijacked the BTA bank for more than $ 6 billion and money laundering".

It is the excuse given by the Kazakh president seeking his political death as he tried to occupy the political arena against the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
But against all these accusations, the oligarch most feared for his life.

Kazakhstan is seeking his extradition of other employees of Mukhtar Ablyazov , from Poland , Spain and the Czech Republic.

“European countries , including France , must ensure that the fundamental rights of Mukhtar Ablyazov are respected and protected . Otherwise, Europe will become deeply involved in the persistent human rights violations that plague the republics of Central Asia, countries where torture and other ill-treatment , as well as grossly unfair trial , are commonplace".

The article recalled the words of the former Secretary General of the Elysee, Claude Gueant, who made a tribute to the "vision" of the head of Kazakhstan is that he compared to an “island of stability and tolerance".
